Peter Withe had signed for Newcastle during the 78/79 season so he missed out on Forest's European Cup win, but left Newcastle to join Villa where he scored the winner in the 1982 Final

Duncan McKenzie 

Made his name at Nottingham Forest before signing for Leeds during Brian Clough's 44 days reign.

Later went on to play for several clubs including Everton, Blackburn and Chelsea it is surprising that he didn't get any England caps at any level?

Trevor Francis of Birmingham.
Scorer of the winning goal for Forest in the 1979 European Cup Final, after becoming the first Million pound transfer.

A while back I scanned this collection of Cigarette cards from some old Sixties football magazines, the cards were originally released in the 1930's by Hignett's cigarettes.
A lot of clubs are still big time but a few are not so well known.
