Scrapbook
Wow!! 5 years since I posted here, so much stuff collected to put here but never seem to have the time (that's my Excuse).
Dug out one of my old scrapbooks after seeing online how much cards were being bought and sold for.
Sadly at 10-11 years old they weren't collectors items to be put away until they were worth something, I liked to enjoy them.
The 1970/71 season was the only time I collected them together as an album, in later seasons I probably did have a lot of them but probably threw them away or sold them?
Around 1990 with a wife and kids and a few debts I started to do boot sales and sold a lot of old memorobilia pretty cheaply just to make money.
Also remember selling some to an old workmate who collected anything football related, mostly programmes and football annuals I had collected.
Anyway the next couple of posts will be that 1970/71 scrapbook.
The front includes a few transfers from that season, plus a couple of stickers from a Shredded wheat collection (I believe), and some dodgy colouring.
The back features some really bad drawings of team kits of the day, I'm still a rubbish artist 😃
